This is a great value ..if you know how to use this trimmer head it is always easy to use. There is no marking for where the center point is to insert the line so my advice is one its installed is to find the open point between both sides and mark it somehow to your liking. This will assure you can find it quickly in the future and it truly is a speed load....this holds less line than the oem...but is still enough unless you use it professionally....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Purchased three of these weedeater heads. Upon opening the packages, the first one never worked and would just let out string. The second one worked for two days before breaking. Working with the third one now. It has been on equipment for two days but it is showing weakness and will probably not make the week. Better than old model
I like the fact that you do'not have to disassemble the head to replace the line. You feed the line in the center in one side out the other get it even on both sides then hold the head with one hand and with the other hand turn the bottom half. This Speed Feed head was a direct fit and cheaper than buying the kit that had all the adapters for different brand trimmers. I've used it once and think it's great. Excellent trimmer head
I just put this echo head on my STIHL trimmer. It's super easy to load and does a fine job trimming. The flat head doesn't scar up the ground like some of the other knobbed heads. I have a trimmer with the real deal Speed-Feed head and this generic one is the same thing but cheaper. The line will feed through the holes easier if you take a moment to bend the first 5-6 inched straight or it tends to catch internally and can be frustrating. Can't Beat The Original
