This monitor is large and bright. My laptop doesn’t support its best resolution, so I can’t comment on the text issue others have had, but mine came with the game mode setting set to off already, so I think the performance would be excellent. The curvature of the screen is perfect for my desk. Over-all this ultra-wide is much nicer than two flat monitors side by side. I had no problem with the strength of the pedestal’s plastic parts. I am really satisfied with that area also.
