Wish it would have worked properly for me
Although there is much to love about this camera: lossless raw compression, high resolution, better colors than some previous and other attributes, my copy was a dud at stabilization. I am a veteran photographer and I have two Sony bodies, A7iii and A9ii, and both were better at long distance shooting of wildlife with my 200-600mm Sony zoom at 600mm a longer distances. It was not a focus problem; the entire image was very soft even at 1/3000th second. I tried all the settings, even ones that shouldn't matter. Nothing worked. So I returned it. I would buy another one if I was sure this wouldn't happen again but there have been similar complaints on some photography sites about the A1 with my lens and with the 600mm G lens as well. Hopefully, a firmware fix will arrive in the future. But I could not keep that body at that price. I could have given this camera rating a one star but it does have some amazing qualities that deserve respect.

A1 is number 1 camera...
Sony's top of the line camera. It is excellent. But quite pricey . The a9 and a9ii are almost as good but half the price.
