    Great tunes will make you turn the volume way up!

    Every song is a keeper...Often you have your favorites on an album and after numerous plays you might skip to a better song. This cd is solid with great instrumentals, lyrics and vocals!

    Amazing Talent, Tragic Life, Way-too-early death

    This CD turned me on to the talent (and tragedy) of Amy Winehouse. The second of only two studio albums from this member of the "27 Club." Like the others, I can only wonder how her talent would evolve had she lived many more years. RIP Amy

    An unique talent

    Amy was an unique talent who was taken from us way too soon. Her phrasing was very original. Unfortunately for Amy, she gravitated to a loser of a boyfriend Blake who introduced her to hard drugs and had a Father who was only interested in riding the gravy train when he should have been concerned with his daughter's health. He discouraged her from going to rehab and was aware of her bulimic behavior. The paparazzi hounded her once she became famous and had her issues with drugs and alcohol.

    Different but good

    I don't listen to old school rhythm and blues, but because Amy was so young and popular and I randomly hear her music everywhere, I just had to give her a try. Surprisingly, I actually like the album and love some of the songs. I truly wish she had gone to rehad, then maybe she'd still be making good music like this.

    Great CD, Amy Winehouse was a great talent who died much to soon. Her hair, mascara were very much like the 60's black girl singers. All of her songs are short and right too the point. her songs almost seem like a autobiography of her sad tragic alcohol and drugged filled life, Her songs are strong, her voice is great.
