    Purchased this cookbook with the idea of preparing and serving healthier meals. It might be a little early to provide a solid review as the only item prepared so far was the Mediterranean Banana Bread. It was well received by the folks it was made for as they loved how moist it was. Utilizing the olive oil and baking at lower temperature (325 F vs. 350+) had a positive effect as well! Am planning on making Main Meals and salads in the future and also the Biscotti!

    I wanted to get some new flavors into my cooking. I found that I was kind of bored with my old recipes and I loved Mediterranean flavors. My husband has been after me for years to serve more vegetarian dishes, not just sides, but stars of the meal. So I saw this cookbook and used my regular system to choice if I want to buy a cookbook - I flip to 3 recipes and I need to want to make 2 out of 3. If not, I flip to 3 more and I have to want to make 4 out of 6. I wanted to make every one that I flipped to! So a winner cookbook for me. It helps that I have a great place in Venice FL to get fresh spices and I can buy the amount that I need. So the spices that I don't use daily don't get old.
