If you need to copy VHS tapes to DVDs, and many do, you'll find this product works fine. It's been about 10 years since it was manufactured and you will have difficulty finding new units that do that specific job these days. And if you can get a good one (make sure you ask whether it can copy as well as play) then as used equipment it comes really cheap. I paid 60 bucks with paid shipping for mine recently. Make sure it get one that's tested. and make sure it has a remote. If it doesn't have a paper manual, then try to find one. You'll need it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
