Megaproducer Stephen J. Cannell scored yet another of his numerous hits with the police drama HUNTER, an NBC series that ran for a respectable seven seasons, from the fall of 1984 through the fall of 1991. Assessed by many as a successful attempt to recapture the popularity of Dirty Harry on the small screen, the program starred Fred Dryer as Detective Sergeant Rick Hunter, a stalwart member of the Los Angeles Police Department's homicide division, who wielded an enormous magnum and repeatedly demonstrated his fondness for firing first and asking questions afterward. His stock phrase was Works for me, a saying that he uttered as a justification of his no-nonsense, hyper-aggressive approach to doling out justice. Assisting Hunter was Dee Dee McCall (Stepfanie Kramer), an astonishingly sexy but ruthless female cop, nicknamed The Brass Cupcake. Later in the series, Dee Dee left the L.A.P.D. to get married, at which point Rick graduated to the L.A.P.D.'s Metro Division.Product Identifiers

Full Series of all of Hunter with Fred Dryer
I have always enjoyed the Hunter series, and got a opportunity to buy this complete series for a cheap price, but when I got it the entire 6th series was missing and also 2 of the 7th series, so I was very disappointed, I wanted especially to see the 6th season, as that was when the main character of Dee Macall left the series and the replaced her with another woman, and also there were 2 of the 3d disc included, so the only thing that was complete was the Series 1-5, so I was very disappointed that I bought something that was not what he said it was.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The dvds' are in great condition, no problems with them. The series is extremely entertaining and so are the characters. Lots of car crashes & action.
