    Great ear protection

These ear plugs are easy to use and provides great protection from wind and engine noise. My Harley is quite loud and these plugs are great.

Don't see what is so good about them

I was excited to get these to give my ears a break from wind noise however I'm still hearing a lot of the wind. They work great in muffling my exhaust noise at speed which isn't what I wanted. Riding slow I feel like I'm in the wrong gear because I'm hearing that sound your bike makes when you are 3 gears away from where you should be and its about to stall. Speed up and the exhaust all but goes away but wind noise still there. I have a very loud exhaust and found it strange I can't hear that but still hear quite a lot of wind. Not sold on these things and I'm looking to buy something else after using only once.

  • Love them but over priced for what they are

From sweeping through traffic or zipping through twisties these buds allow full immersion for your surroundings without all the harsh wind noise pain. They feel light and barely noticeable. I recommend this over disposable and reusable ear buds.

  • Great ear protection. I don't leave home without them.

I bought the Tour version earlier this year and then promptly lost them. They were great though, really reduced the wind noise at speed in my helmet. I replaced them with the latest Race version and can honestly say they are better than the Tour, much better noise isolation and I can still hear the comms through the Sena system in my Shoei Neotec II. These soft earplugs are comfortable even after wearing them for some time, the little plunger used to plug them into each ear is great as I can really get them snug into my ears. I now keep the little zippered pouch on my bike keyring, not losing them again. They're a bit dear but I can highly recommend them.

  • comfortable but not perfect for noise supression

The higher level of noise suppression (red) is not enough for my MX helmet (used for street riding) and the wind noise is still rather annoying at speeds higher than 80Km/h Otherwise the plugs are vey comfortable and don't hurt wearing them for hours, unlike foam plugs I just wish there was a higher level of noise reduction

  • Does what it claims to do.

I bought the Pro pack with both the Tour and Race plugs as it was my first purchase of these and I didn't know which I would prefer. It's a bargain price and comes in a handy pack to store them in, that includes a little tool to help put them in your ear and a small bottle of cleaner. I have tried them both now at speeds up to 110 km/h. The important thing to remember is that they reduce noise not block it out. The Race version blocks more than the Tour. At highway speed I preferred the Race, to block more wind noise. I could still hear my phone/music and the engine on my stock Suzuki DRZ400SM along with other traffic. With the Tour plugs in it's the same but louder. I stopped and spoke to people and could hear them clear enough. They are comfortable and unobtrusive in the ear, maybe a little fiddly to get out if you have thick fingers. Can't say anything about longevity at this point but if they were to last a year I would certainly buy the pack again. I'll use the Tour set for my commute to work and the Race for my longer, higher speed rides.

  • Alpine ear plugs are not good value.

I purchased both Tour & Race and the Tour are a waste of time and the Race cut down some wind noise, but not enough for me and my helmet. I could hear discussions ok though. Think I will stick to cheap foam plugs as they cut the wind noise.

  • Really great at reducing wind noise, eas...

Really great at reducing wind noise, easy to insert. I doubt they make my intercom easier to hear compared to foam plugs despite the claims.

  • Dose not block out much noise if going over 70KPH

Not overly impressed with the amount of noise this product blocks out. Good if you not going over 70KPH Fitment is easy and comfortable.

  • Great earplugs for any type of riding!

Whether it's commuting on the freeway, going on a road trip or just a quick ride with some friends, these earplugs are great! They're comfortable and block out the wind noise whilst still allowing you to hear your engine, other traffic, sirens and even your intercom. 2 pairs for different levels of blocking is great and the carry case is very handy. 5/5
