Excellent battery
Excellent battery. It is small and easily packable and rechargeable. I'm a fisherman and it is not unusual to fish after dark, and even if I don't there is always a 2+ mile hike back to the car in the dark and a lot of times over some tough terrain and this year, copperheads. Having a spare battery with me is great. It ensures there's sufficient light to get back and to identify the fanged creatures. Very economic and a greener option
I use the battery back with the actik 300lum headlamp. It burns through AAA pretty fast in high setting. The mid setting (100lum) is a bit too dim for me. So this rechargable pack saves money and is green for the envionment. Down side is the price ($49 what I paid), it dies after few hours on high setting (2.0hr) and charging time.
