PANASONIC ADVANCED 3D BLU-RAY / DVD RECORDER 500GB HDD TWIN TUNER
A excellent system in which every household should own! It is lightweight, superbly designed with being able to record TV programs on DVD and HDD and also you are able to watch Blu Ray DVD's and ordinary DVD's and comes with remote as well. This unit was to replace an earlier Panasonic version and I soon found there was only one output lead for video, which was a HDMI cable. This means if you connect it to an older screen there are serious limitations on connectors that work to give you a great picture on a screen which does not accept a HDMI input. If this is the case, you will then find problems with the audio out and connecting that. Aftermarket connectors/convertors also don't do a great job. I have a 1080P screen which will only play 576P or 480P depending on the video. Unlike the earlier 380/390 Panasonics, it will not play NTSC videos.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Excellent Recorder but remote smaller that we are used to
This is our 4th Panasonic Recorder. Very happy with it. The only comment I have is that Panasonic have reduced the size of the remote control and therefore it has less buttons. The remote does not have the "Time Slip" button which we are used to. Time slip allows you to go x minutes ahead or back. Great for skipping the adds. The good news is that the remote for the Panasonic DMR-XW450 works with this recorder. The model of the remote is TZT2Q020644. You can see the difference in the photo.

Pleasantly surprised by the great condition of this "Seconds " unit. Carton was a little shabby but the product appears brand new to me. Still trying to work out how to use the unit to its full capacity, but having fun with it too. A great Recorder at almost half the usual retail price.
