  • Upgraded from an Intel i5-6500 to an Intel i7-9700KF .

This is an insanely fast CPU compared to my existing i5-6500, I purchased this CPU to finalize a PC Upgrade the CPU was all I needed to complete it. I got everything together put some thermal paste on the top of the CPU mounted the cooler after installing on to the Motherboard placed tge motherboard in tge case with the CPU, RAM & Cooler pre-installed hooked up all the cables connected it up to a monitor once it was completely together pushed the power button it booted straight up posted to bios & once I set up my RAM speed, boot order etc I save & rebooted it rebooted no problem installed windows & is currently downloading & installing updates, drivers etc etc etc. Stepping up to a 9th Gen i7 CPU from a 6th Gen i5 wow do you see the performance gain. Easy to install it's just like any other LGA 1151 CPU to install, it is Super Fast straight out of the box will be even faster in the hands of an enthusist such as myself that can & do overclock CPU's. No it's not harmful to overclock your CPU unless you try to much to quick & end up doing something wrong & frying the CPU ( too much voltage is the biggest mistake people make when overclocking ). So long as you make small tweaks ( adjustments to voltages etc ) & the PC is stable reboot to bios & make another small tweak save & reboot if it boots & the PC is stable you can rinse & repeat until it becomes unstable & crashes at that stage reboot to bios go back to the previous setting & that will be the peak of the overclockability of the CPU.

  • Fast CPU with great OC history

Great CPU to match my Z390 AORUS motherboard, dropped straight into the socket and basically fast enough out of the box for my general daily tasks but yet to overclock for in-depth gaming but should pose no issues after checking other users O.C performance reviews. Used for longevity of my PC build and upgrade to Windows 10 Pro which opens apps faster than I've experienced with previous generations of I7s. Great price but was harder to find now with 10th and 11th Intel CPU's on the market.
