Cosequin, is great supplement to give your dog an improved mobility.
I've been giving Cosequin Maximum Strength Joint Supplement to my St Bernard ever since the Vet told me it would help her arthritic joint. When she was a young pup, she was bitten in the hip by an older dog. One day when she was 3 years old, she couldn't stand up due to the pain in her hip. I took her to the Vet where they X-rayed her and found she had developed arthritis due to the former hip injury. After the Vet treated her and she could walk again, I started giving her the prescribed amount of Cosequin for her size. She is now almost 8 years old and has never had a relapse of not being able to stand. Thankfully, the Cosequin has provided her with the needed treatment which continues to allow her to remain active. I attribute her continued mobility to the use of the Cosequin daily. I thoroughly recommend this medication for optimum skeletal health for your dog. Great product, really works!
I have looked at many different joint supplements for dogs, and what I have noticed is that most of them are lower mg per tablet/chew than Cosequin. You really get the bang for your buck on this product and it seems to be of high quality - plus it really works! I have a 15 year old blue heeler that’s rounded up a lot of cattle in her day. I noticed she wasn’t getting around as well in her old age so I started this product. It takes about 4-6 weeks to start working, but when it does watch out! The only down side is that she started chasing moving vehicles again and the irrigation guy ran over her front leg with a dirtbike so I had to get a cast put on. She healed up nicely though and is just fine now, so the story ends well. Bottom line, I definitely know this worked well for her and greatly improved her quality of life in her old age. Great Product, Highly Recommended
This joint supplement has really helped my dog move better. She is 10 years old and this past summer she was having trouble walking. I started her on these and within a month she was walking much better. She is now back to running! Excellent for arthritis in dogs!
My pittie developed arthritis in his knees about two years ago, couldn't jump up on couch or bed without yelping. I checked with the vet, who diagnosed him and recommended glucosamine. It worked almost immediately, and he's been completely pain-free ever since. On a side note, I've been struggling with arthritis in my knees for years, and had stopped taking glucosamine because I wasn't convinced that it worked. Our lab has hip dysplasia and it was getting more and more difficult for her to get up and down. Our vet put her on a high protein, low fat diet but she was still having issues. Had her on Cosequin DS for about five months and not much better Have now had her on Cosequin DS plus MSM for about three weeks and she is doing a lot better.
