Get the Apple Pencil!
The crayon is not bad for basic writing and the auto pair feature is good, but it doesn’t come close to the Apple Pencil. 1st of all the Apple Pencil charges from your iPad and the gestures make having an iPad Pro with the money. I tried to be thrifty and pick up the crayon only to send it back. If you can get one cheap and don’t need all the bells and whistles of an Apple Pencil give it a shot. Crayon is excellent competitor to Apple Pencil 2nd ed.
PROS: Crayon is light and comfortable in the hand. It feels like a carpenter pencil. I like Apple Pencil 2nd edition but since I just need stylus for occasional notes taking and highlighting/commenting on the pdf files, Crayon has a better value at half the price of an Apple Pencil. CONS: It doesn't have all the features of the Apple Pencil and can't be charged wirelessly and I need to remember carry a lightning cable wherever iPad Pro is using USB-C. I had an Apple Pencil that died on me, so I researched several styluses and this one was most recommended. It kicks apple pencils behind! It has zero lag and immediate response time. It draws like a dream and feels great in the hand. I love it and will never go back to Apple Pencil. This costs half of what Apple Pencil costs! It's a little thick to hold and made of a lot of rubber parts that can break easily that show that Logitech was trying to earn a lot of money from school replacements. Otherwise, it's closer to the same size as a normal pencil than the extra long length of an Apple Pencil and is surprisingly comfortable to hold.
