Epson workforce ET is a good value.
Old person complaint, no physical manual. On product guide is fairly easy to read. If problem (check ink level) is not easy to figure out. I checked the ink level (I had only printed a few pages) never did figure it out, I just unplugged the printer for a minute. Minor problems with the 'print 2-sided' settings, but figured it out. Poor product condition- print Heads
Unit was completely clogged especially the magenta print head. After pressure cleaning the print heads with 90% isopropyl alcohol in a syringe, I couldn’t get the unit to print even with power cleaning the heads twice and 6 cycles of print head cleaning. Good basic ecotank printer
It is NOT as fast as my previous ET-3750, and I can't figure out how to invoke booklet printing which is available... according to instruction videos, but not the service manual. It has all the other features one needs, combined with the low-cost for inks. very easy to set up. Print quality of photos are as good as professionals do. Adding ink is easy with no dripping and no hassle. Even though this is a refurbished printer, it runs and looks like new. The print quality is excellent and operation is reasonably quiet. Only the external paper feed and surprisingly tiny display are less than optimal. Love it so far.
I previously owned another Epson and when it finally died after many years I decided to go with this new refillable model. I love the concept of the Eco friendly design. The ink wells do seem to hold a lot of ink. The setup of the actual printer was not super difficult. Just requires reading and following directions. Simple enough although some of the instructional graphics are not super helpful. But I had a great difficulty when trying to get it hooked up to my mobile hotspot as I do not have a router. I followed the instructions regarding automatic setup at least three times to no avail. I finally realized that it was better to choose the manual setup option and once I did that it was fairly intuitive. The printing quality was exactly what I needed for occasional medium high quality Color Prints. I am very happy with my purchase the price point on this is super reasonable.
