Mediocre sound and uncomfortable headband angle
I usually like Audio Technica products but these headphones are not what I hoped for. Sound quality is just aight, which for the cost I was expecting better. While they are designed to spin an ear cup around for single-ear listening, they are almost floppy and it's a pain to put them on both ears when a cup is always trying to rotate around. The biggest thing I don't like is that the headband is angled back at a fixed angle and can't be adjusted. I did not notice this when I purchased these. So beware! If you are like me and prefer the headband resting squarely on top of your head, these will not be comfortable - the design forces the headband to sit farther back on your head.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty good headphones
As far as I know, these are the best sounding headphones for the best price that I've ever seen. I was contemplating whether to buy these or the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO, which was equal in price and had practically the same reviews on other websites. I ended up buying these and I was immediately impressed with the sound quality. I have been using cheap headphones for my whole life and I decided that I was in need of some quality headphones that could reproduce sound well due to my interest in Hifi audio. I am no expert in audio hardware, but I could tell that the treble was much crisper, the mids much clearer, and the bass much fuller than my previous headphones. Ok ok let me start about these!
Ok to be honest there really nice! The audio quality isn’t as punchy as my M50x’s and feels flatter. Doesn’t mean at all that it’s bad for 100$ these can are seriously the best deal you can get with modding of course. Go to brainwaves and debrand to get better comfort and a skin. And also replace the headband if need and get a cable mod to fit any cable. These cans can also be modded for Bluetooth! You just gotta know what your doing so check out my YT to see a video on the M40x’s being nodded for a guide! Can’t drop a link so go look up Wonder Tech Reveiws or Wonder until you see my mod guide! Great sound quality, affordable price.
It's pretty hard to beat these headphones for the money. The sound quality is excellent, and they are fairly comfortable. They will get a little uncomfortable after several hours due to being somewhat tight and slightly warm, but that seems to be the tradeoff for less sound leakage. What a disappoinment. The sound is crisp but nothing spectacular. I bought these to game and the clamp is Soo tight I can only have them on for about an hour. My corsair void pro have better directional sound than these. Not worth investing in a Dac. Was hoping these were going be the one but I guess I'll have to keep on looking.
