    More expensive that its competitors, but worth every cent.

    The quality of the AI upscaling is amazing - makes a FHD video indistinguisable from a 4K! I also love the range of apps available: just about everything on the Google Playstore is there. I installed Kodi so that I can play everything on my home LAN. One pleasant surprise was that it could even read my 4TB USB portable HD, something none of my other media players could do. The built-in Chromecast is nice, but totally unneeded. My only complaint is my attached USB HDs show up with weird Product ID names instead of volume labels, but it's not a big deal.

    Really, cop a load of all these ads!!

    Fine unit except for all the multitude of unwanted ads shoved down your throat via the home screen, something that NVidia & Google have had many, many complaints about but which I was not aware of until I used the device. I can't stand this business model!

    Great product performance, well worth the money.

    Excellent product, extremely easy to set up, just plug and play. Works great with the Kodi app to watch my home videos. Netflix and Youtube are far more stable when watching through the nVidia Shield, compared to my LG smart TV.

    Great streamer, picture and sound amazing!

    I'd say this was on par or better than the Apple TV for android. I got it because I wanted to play Geforce Now on my projector, and it certainly works well for that---but more than that it has great streaming options and a fantastic interface.

    Surprised at how good this is!

    I am SO glad I decided to buy this as my new plex server. This is a quality product which does everything I throw at it. It’s fast and powerful enough for most 4K movies streamed across my wifi. It’s a tiny little thing but so good. The price is amazing too. I am glad I went with the Pro version.

    Great product powerfil

    Much better than the Chromecast with Google TV Stick as the Google one does not pass through Atmos Audio on apps like Plex etc that's why I nought the Shield Pro because it does it. Love the light up remote this should be standard on all remotes Cons: Does not come with a stand even though pictured

    Android TV Kodi 4k = bad performance

    Everything was great, except Kodi plays 4k movies from local media with micro stutters. Makes what was a great product a useless for what it was designed for. I have already sold the Shield and bought something else.
