Great product for listening to music, but not quiet yet for voice calling.
Love these headphones, they sound fantastic and they do a great job cancelling noise while the music is playing. Perhaps the only letdown is the voice calling function, it's not good enough, in my experience making and receiving calls. Faulty, low quality second. Don't bother with it.
I listened to my friends Brand New XM4B that he purchased from The Good Guys, it was fantastic! But when I received this, I initially was happy as it looked brand new, but quickly I discovered that the sound was awful, nothing like his. The sound was actually muddy, missing mid-tones and way inaccurate high-ends. Good. Not great.
If you live anywhere that’s windy these aren’t for you. I got the MX4s for the noise cancelling feature, but the first walk down the street was a bad experience that was more wind noise than music. Having them connected to two devices at once sounds good but hasn’t been able to work that well for me between the Windows world and Mac / iOS ecosystem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

One of the best ANC Headphones!
Arguably the best ANC headphones in its price range, even better on special/discounts. Value. Love the SONY headphone mobile app, great equalizer allowing customisation. Easy to pair and use straight out of the box, long battery life, fast charging USB-C, great carry case, improvement on comfort from XM3s, plus nifty features like holding your hand over the right ear cup to chat to someone is pretty cool. Sound is amazing without leaving the obvious out. My only comment, would have loved an improvement on design compared to the XM3s. The Bose 700s are great too, depending on personal preference. i.e. Bose has a more updated design. Money well spent
The Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are the most comfortable headphones I’ve owned. I mostly use them while watching TV so I’m not disturbing others. The sound quality is superb and immersive as well as being gentle on the ears. Bluetooth connectivity is seamless. Great headphones with perfect ANC has small niggly issues with BT
Some issues when using two BT devices at once. It can occasionally lose all audio but still be connected, requiring a power cycle to fix. Also the audio quality to PC is sub par over BT, Android is fine though, suggest this is an issue with PC not easily spring LDAC. There are some aesthetic marks on the box, however these headphones are immaculate, along with the carry case, consistent with them having been returned to the supplier from a retailer because they had not been sold. I'm very happy with my purchase. From a hardware point of view, these headphones are great and the sound quality is excellent. Sony's app to deal with some of the more advanced features is a little fiddly but you get used to it. A great sounding headphone that pairs well with my new Sony Bravia TV. I had a little trouble at one stage, as it wouldn’t switch from my phone to my TV, but I turned my Bluetooth on & off, and closed the app off and on, and it fixed my problem.
