Save your money
Do not waste your money on this product. It does not do the job described. Yes it spins rapidly when lots of heat is produced from the fire place BUT it does not produce even the tiniest flow of air fowards from the fan. Its made solidly and spins easily but no air movement. Very disappointed. Do not buy. Save your money.

The fan is light and compact, it starts to circulate heat silently around the room shortly after lighting a fire. Instead of all the heat raising to the roof and leaving the floor cold the fan does a great job of evenly distributing heat.
