choosing a toaster
There are so many toasters to choose from. Online is not a fully tactile experience, visual only pictures. I always try for a sale (pensioner with no money), then a brand I trust but there are many. Then not wanting a cheapie that breaks. The Breville was sticking out at the price I paid for what I read. My Breville bench top mixer was a good purchase and that decided the purchase. Since it arrived it has cooked many perfect slices of toast. The lift function is the novelty. Being able to look at a slice without stopping the toasting works.
