Has not improved the signal very much.
Bought the unit to try to improve a weak signal spot. The netgear booster is located where it says the signal is strong (connecting to the wifi) but the speed and reliability of the connection to my ipad is only very marginally better withthe booster than without it - in the weak signal location (only 8m from booster - no walls). Wifi Extender that is simple to use and effective
This device was surprisingly easy to use, i'm not computer savvy so I was after a relatively set up process. The one touch WPS set up didn't work for my system so I had to go online and set up but even this was pretty straight forward. Speed suffers for signal strength!
It does increase the signal strength but the speed suffers a 30% drop. My NBN 90mbs drops to 30mbs but the signal strength is stronger. Doesn’t do what it claims up to 300mbs! Then you use more power having an extra extender! I’m sending it back!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality product which does an A+ job
Quality product extends and strengthens wifi network coverage in our solid brick house. Modem is located toward front of house (700+ sqm block) and coverage was previously poor in backyard when e.g. playing youtube vids it would buffer, now a coverage test shows 86% signal strength at -57dBm, speed 130mps. this is @ approx. 10m from the range extender, through solid brick walls. I have the range extender about half way between modem and backyard.
