Product Information
The Precision RJ Crimper is for RJ12 and RJ 45 modular plugs. This tool has both a cutter and an outer sheath stripper for the cables. It utilises a built-in ratchet in order to make sure that the crimp has been completed successfully before the tool releases. To use the tool, place each wire into the connector. Big improvement over cheap and cheerful crimps
I’ve been getting much better crimps than my previous $10 tool (which would make such bad connections I’d not get gigabit sometimes). The parallel action and cast head of this tool provides accurate retention of the receptacle and even setting of the pins and don’t crush the tang like some tools do. Comfortable and solid feeling. A good investment for a Network tech...
