Condition as advertised, works fine. iTunes only syncs some of my songs, but not all. I have to work on that. Bluetooth generic airpods work fine, and sound good. Some apps that I wanted to load won't install because they want a newer version of the OS. I guess that's what you get for buying an obsolete product. Sound quality of the 4th gen iPod Touch disappointing
Really disappointed in the sound quality of this. I have a very old iPod Nano that I love, and it is starting to fail, so I needed something to replace it and wanted a larger screen but needed to stay with the 30 pin connector so I could use it with my iHome docking station. The 4th gen iPod is the last one to use this. The sound is not anywhere near as good as the 3rd gen iPod Nano that I have that is about 10+ years old. Not sure if it's just this particular one since I bought it used,but I really don't think I would buy this type again.

Not bad for $30 in 2021!
I needed a new device to replace my current LG T40 I'm using for music so I started looking and found this iPod for about $30, with Bluetooth, 32GB of storage, and USB support, all of which I was looking for in a music playing device since my current one, the LG T40, doesn't have USB support and only 16GB storage with my SD card. It was a deal I couldn't pass up! To get started with the full-on review, let's start with shipping; The shipping was amazing! It was very fast, and super easy to track! Not to mentioned it shipped over night from Virginia to North Carolina, which was unexpected for free shipping, but I'm not complaining! Second, The product itself; When it arrived, the packaging was... interesting (it was wrapped in bubble wrap and thrown into a bag with a shipping label on it) but secure enough to make it in one piece. The device was in good shape as described, with only some scratches on the back, as expected. The battery of the device, on the other hand, was very disappointing. When playing music only, It gives me about 2-3ish hours on one charge but when doing screen intensive stuff, It'll only last 30ish minutes on a full charge, and that's with the brightness down! People use a touch for more than music. That's the point of an iPod touch instead of a nano or a shuffle. So when it really can't do those other things to long without killing the battery, it defeats the purpose. UPDATE: After a dew days of use, I've noticed the battery getting better? Odd but ok. Instead of taking 30min to get a full charge, it actually took 1-2 hours to charge. This is also with a new cable different from the one that came with the iPod, so I can only assume it was a cable thing and not a battery thing. That's good because I really didn't wanna drop $79 for a battery replacement from Apple. The battery is also lasting me more like 4-6 hours, even with heavy screen usage. However, I do have it in airplane mode so that could be adding to the battery health. With these new discoveries being made in the about a week of use, my rating has changed! One final note, the internal speaker is kinda trash. This doesn't bother me since I mainly use headphones with it but for anyone intending on using the internal speaker a lot, maybe go for a 5th gen iPod touch instead. Over all, would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap MP3 player!

Good little iPod
This purchase was to upgrade from an old school 2005 classic iPod. I bought it for music and FaceTime only. I did not pay attention to the dimensions so I got a good laugh at the size. Very similar in size to my old iPod, definitely NOT even close to current iPod or iPhone sizes. I actually really like the small size cuz I can be discreet with it and it fits in all my pockets. Love the speaker. Don't love that I can't enable disc use but everything stays organized so much better when I add files to the automatically add folder in my computer. Definitely an upgrade for me. The Condition of these iPods were practically Brand New!!
I purchased (2) Apple iPod Touch 4th generation to replace one 3rd generation and an old iPod shuffle. Both came in the same box, well packaged and significant care was taken to insure they didn't get harmed en-route. We were both amazed at the quality and overall shape they were in...they literally looked brand new. I've listened to music and have text and taken pictures for the past several weeks and I'm glad I purchased both of them as my wife loves it as well. It is what it is
It is as described - a used ipod touch. The battery doesn't hold power very long, and the little button on the front bottom that should bring me to the home page doesn't work well. Having said that, I bought this for the sole purpose of having 32 gb of music in my car. As long as it plays, I don't care about the rest of the functions. As for the battery, I keep a cable in the car and can easily plug it in when needed. Because this is an apple product, it was very easy to plug into my laptop and download my music playlists from iTunes. I'm not at all a techy person, so this easy download meant everything to me. Battery: I listen to it for about 30-45 minutes at a time, driving to and from work. It needs to be recharged every third day - that's roughly every 3-4 hours of use. If it's been sitting in my car unused for a couple days, and if it's been wintry cold, then it will need charging when I get back in. Our old iPod finally died after a good long life.
