Rugged watch with accurate time
I previously had one of these watches and loved it. After many years I accidentally broke the band and have now replaced it. The Casio G-Shock is the only digital watch I've ever liked. It's easy to set, it keeps extremely accurate time, and it puts up with my mistreatment as though nothing happened. I've worn it in the shower, dropped it on hard ground, and it still hasn't missed a beat. I don't often use the stopwatch, alarm and timekeepers, but they have come in handy when I've needed them. Almost perfect...
Love the G shock, solar power, 20 bar, auto light, stopwatch, auto calendar and simple easy to read layout. This watch is lightweight and stylish. My only beef is that the alarm sound is very high pitched and as I'm of above average age my hearing is not quite what it used to be, and consequently I cannot hear it. This means the alarms, hourly chime and countdown timer are useless to me. Which is a shame as I was going to be using all of these features. The addition of a vibrating alarm would've alleviated this issue, but unfortunately there is no vibrating alarm on this watch!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for me as a tennis coach
I do tennis coaching, and couldn't find a good small-medium sized watch to wear that wouldn't get caught up in my wrist actions needed for my tennis. This was the perfect watch, not big like usual g-shocks that I also own, and it has 8-10 months solar charge so battery replacement is non existent so far (only have had for a month). Sleek easy to read classic style. Heavy duty but not so heavy that the watch becomes antiquated like some g shock watches. Nostalgia Plus!
It's great to be wearing a watch that is about as close to the original G-Shock I used to wear as a kid back in 1984! Whilst it doesn't look nearly as huge and chunky on my adult wrist as it did on my wrist at age 11, it's still awesome to look down and see the classic retro stylings of the 5000 replicated in the 5600. So glad I bought this watch. It's been good for the soul 😊

Almost indestructible
