Powerful Battery
The NTN7144 5500maH battery and charger gives me the ability to use my radio for a long period of time without worrying about losing power. It comes with it's own charger. Just plug it in the wall then plug it into battery for a solid charge. The battery also comes with a belt clip so you can wear it on your belt. It is a LI-ION battery as opposed to a nickel cadmium battery. So if you have a Motorola desktop charger that is made for the Motorola MT2000 with a nickel cadmium battery you can't use it in that charger.
