    These are great drives

    I had a number of new servers (well, used actually, but new to me) last year, wanted to put SSDs in across the board, but I was doing something that was destroying SSDs (excessive writes). So we went back to the 10K SAS drives. Bought this one for a new server. Bigger than the previous ones, but same deal. More or less infinite lifetime, and more space. If you need LARGE storage, you want a regular 2.5" slower drive with more capacity, or some kind of shared storage. I'll be getting a couple more of these.

    Ordered a few of these for spares on some aging development servers. Still plenty of life left and I haven't had a problem with them in operation 24/7. If I have need of a few more for dev boxes I'll definitely be ordering more!

    Good hard drive but....

    This hard drive is great, is fast, it was listed as new, but the units purchased were used. I tested them with hard disk sentinel and the result was around 1900 days of use.... I don't know how much time of useful life they had left, but I prefer to know I am buying an used disk...
