Babylock Blind Hemmer
I am a Babylock fan. I own several of their machines and have never had a bad experience. Until the Blind Hemmer. I understand why they no longer carry it because all their other machines are work horses. They last forever and handle everything. Perhaps it wore out but unless this one product just missed the quality control, I just don't see that happening. I am pretty knowledgeable with machines and maintain mine. I have even taken other brands apart and rebuilt them. This one just wouldn't line up. Granted the instructions were terrible. I searched utube and Google but there is very little to be found on these blind hemmers by Babylock. I understand Simplicity now makes them but there is still very little info out there. The most common complaint I found was with the timing. It just can't seem to stay in tune. I will say that I attempted to get it to work. I may try again because I can't stand to have something not work. In the meantime I bought a Rex blind hemmer. No complaints. It sews like a dream or shall I say hems like a dream.
