    Inexpensive DAC upgrade and a headphone amp to boot

    Really inexpensive. Very good DAC chip. The headphone amp is good for easy to drive headphones. Also useful for recording. Did I say inexpensive? A DAC doesn't have to cost hundreds. It's all about the chip.

    Good for playing, not good for recording.

    While the output sounds good, the input has noticeable hiss and noise. The input has no hardware level gain control which is necessary for good recording. The manufacturer has cut too many corners in order to lower the cost. I can only recommend this product for playing music and not recording.

    Good, simple interface

    If you just need a cheap stereo line level interface for your computer because the built-in audio doesn't meet your needs this may be the ticket. It only does 16 bits at 44.1k and 48k sample rate, its not the quietest interface I've ever used, but for basic audio its fine and won't break the bank.

    Worth checking out

    This product is a good choice for any well-rounded musician. Its functional. Works with a common 6-channel mixer and Is relatively easy to setup with my mac. Clear sound through the headphone jack. and backwards compatibility works for any two mixer setup.

    Amazing USB adapter

    The headphone jack went out on my laptop. I use it to listen to my laptop through my stereo. I replaced it with this Behringer unit and it works great. The sound quality is much better - probably due to the fact the stereo is now getting a true line out. Similar audio interfaces like this cost 4x more. This unit does a great job without the problems of replacing it with a wireless solution which I have found means charging batteries and having more trouble tracing problems when it stops working well.

    Gotta love this!

    Great sound. Worked right away when I plugged it into my Windows 10 PC. No software needed. Amazing deal for the price. I also bought one for my sons PC. He uses studio monitors and now there is no humming/background noice in the speakers anymore. Way better than a standard sound card.

    Cheap audio THD tool

    This card is good enough for relatively simple THD testing of audio power amps, which is what I needed it for. I use it to set the AC balance in my tube amps, so finding the null of each channels second order harmonic. Not suitable for 20 or 20KHz THD measurements being only 16/44.1 capable, need 24/96 minimum for that.
