Great lens. Like new condition. Really, really wide, so get up to speed on using a lens with such a wide angle so your images won’t be flat. Mine came with a petal lens shade which I did not expect. Focus and zoom lens very smooth. Could not be happier! A super quality lens by Sigma and a fraction of the cost of a Nikon and as far as I’m concerned, as good or even better.

Very nice up-grade from Sigma's original 10-20mm ( which was a variable aperture, this one is a constant aperture lens ). This lens being one of Sigma's EX versions, lens is built to easily compete with any other lens in its class, even from "the big two" at a considerable savings. Saw an article in Popular that proved this point. If you need a wide angle for your APS-C sensor digital camera , definitely check this lens out. Images are beautiful. With this lens and a 18-270 or 18-300 or 18-400 you get coverage from 15mm (super wide angle) to 600mm ( super telephoto ) with just two lenses. I wanted to try a wide view lens for landscape pictures and was impressed. There is quite a bit of distortion at 10mm but adds interesting effects if lens is tilted up or down when taking the picture. If zoomed to 15mm most of the distortion is minimal.
