Phone arrived w/out shrink wrap and security tape was missing. It was clear to me that the phone box had been opened, which was not explicitly stated in the listing. After looking up the serial number w/ Apple and the IMEI, I'm confident the phone is as otherwise described.

According to Apple, this "brand new" phone was originally purchased over 20 months before I bought it, so it's not new as advertised. The existing AppleCare is about to expire, and it's not eligible for any more coverage. I had a return authorized through eBay, but I had already canceled my old SIM card and converted to the eSIM so it would be a hassle. Also beware the free shipping; it's slow, and $30 to upgrade. I don't recommend this seller.
