This is a good fast tablet
Good tablet , is fast and nice screen , could do with bit larger batter life but is ok , way better than the 7 inch , , still could do with better quality power plug , that's main thing got sloppy on my last 2 7s , time will tell if this 8 is the same , I am heavy net user last 7 tablet I got 4 yrs out of , hope this is better Read full review...

Decent tablet, but only a single speaker.
My last 8" tablet was a Lenovo Tab4 8, which I was very happy with. The battery was fading so rather than pay someone to put a new one in, I thought I would upgrade to the latest model. The Tab M8 has a great screen, and is fast, so no issues with the operation of the unit itself. But the older model Tab4 8 had two speakers so when I had it in landscape mode, I could stream movies and sport in bed, or when travelling etc, and it produced stereo sound with surround effect. Super disappointed that the newer model Tab M8 has only one speaker. I should have checked the specs more closely, I just took it for granted that companies don't delete features in later products.Read full review...

Excellent for the price
This is the first Android tablet I've bought in seven odd years. The entry level ones have come a long way. Out of the box there was an update waiting to Android 10.
It browses the full web with ease, resolution is fine. The screen could possibly be slightly brighter, but it's plenty bright towards the top of the slider.
Battery is great so far. With my usage, I'm charging every couple of days. The build feels very solid, the metal back is nice for this price range.
Only plays basic games, but I'm not a mobile gamer, so obviously anyone that is will want to look elsewhere anyway.
Camera isn't too shabby for 5MP, surprisingly it can handle close-up focus, but can get grainy fast in low light - but again, at this price, you can't expect miracles.Read full review...
