This item is better than the original equipment that my Passport Escort 8500 came with. It also comes with spare suction cups. I have bought two of these items, both lasted a very long time. I used this mount with my 9500xi passport and it is actually better than the windshield mount that comes with my passport. I purchased another mount before and it would not slide smoothly on the guides or it would get stuck on the guides. This one I have no issues with and it also comes with extra suction cups.
