Instead of paying bunches of $ or a padded bag that won't stay closed at the top, you're better off buying paper bags and putting a ripe piece of fruit in with the bananas if you want them to ripen quicker. This bag doesn't delay the softening or browning of bananas. So it's really a false claim. Nice sized bag to take on a picnic though to carry fruit or other food/drink.Read full review

It works!

I was hopeful as well as sceptical about this product. Hopeful, thereby purchasing 3 of them and sceptical as there have been many attempts to lengthen the life of bananas that are fails. However, this one does work! Despite creating more used space in the fridge, at least my bananas don't come our black! As in my family there's always bananas, but not always wanted. So it's been good to have the bananas have a bit more life to it instead of throwing them away, wasted produce and money! So I've passed them on with high recommendations.

Would have liked to bags to have a draw string as opposed to a tie, just for more convenience.
