Does the job

This kit contains a small tube of 40% urea ointment for softening fungal nails, a functional plastic tool for scraping away the softened nail, and too few plasters to see the job through. This does seem to work in that it removes infected nails, and there doesn't seem to be another product on the market that does that. Removing the nails took up quite a lot of time every day for about 4 weeks though. There are only enough plasters in the kit to treat one nail, so you may need to buy more. If you need more urea ointment you have to buy another whole kit as the company do not sell the ointment separately. As your nails grow back in you need to treat them with an antifungal; that is not supplied either. It takes about 9 months for the nails to grow back, so don't know yet whether this strategy has worked for me. I would buy this again as I have found no other product that removes fungal nails, but for what is in the kit it seems over priced.Read full review

Good product with health and age warning

Warning only use on adults, will remove skin in chunks around toe if not used exactly as instructed.

Warning it can enter your blood stream via toe and is vey toxic .

It will work for control of nails like mine that are deeply ingrowing, but you realy have to use with great care at all times .

Not suitable for children or very young adults at all in my opinion .

But used with wisdom and care very usefull product that is expensive for tiny amount in tube .

it works but...

It seems to be working, after a few days use the top of my nail peeled off.
But the plaster caused nasty blisters and my toe is still painful after 3 weeks because of that. Also , the little plastic tool is useless.
I would recommend getting better quality plasters from the chemist.

The best yet

I have tried almost every product on the market, none of which have worked. After seeing the advertising of the product regarding, clear nails in 21 days, so I thought I would try it, and who knows maybe this one will finally work. I am half way through and the improvement already is nothing short of remarkable. So I am delighted and would highly recommend Read full review

A really great product for fast removal of a fungal nail.

This is no longer prescribed on the NHS and I was advised to use this for my daughter's toe after years of fungal varnish treatments. It is working really well and the damaged toe nail is nearly ready to fall off. I did not think it would work, but it is working in super quick time. Hopefully she will have a health nail again soon.Read full review

Difficult to fit plasters

Very disappointed with this product. After reading and following the instructions carefully I tried to fit the plaster around the toe nail. It needs to be left on for 24 hours. The instructions advise not to touch the sticky side of the plaster or let any of the cream touch it. This is near impossible if you are trying to treat a middle toe, as you need to fold the plaster around the toe to completely cover it.Read full review

Too much messing about

Although it seems to be working, it needs too much preparation on a daily basis. The toe plaster doesn’t fit properly so I have too reinforce with more tape. Also the plaster made my toe itch.

canespro

would be easier to apply by seringe, plasters dont stick, and not always clear if having any effect, too exspensive for the time scale, could cost hundreds to treat one nail but i suppose that suits the supplierRead full review
