The product is exactly as advertised. The specifications are what MacTracker says should be used in my mid-2009 MacBook Pro. Being an older computer the RAM upgrade is very affordable. Most options for this spec on eBay are used pieces. This is brand name pre-packaged for my particular use and at a very small difference in price, a no-brainer! I have used the computer for several days now and can feel that it operates more fluidly with a full compliment of RAM. Virtual memory is part of the Unix operating system; therefore, macOS has it as a fundamental part. Having more working memory reduces page-outs. By doubling the Mac's RAM from the basic 4GB to 8GB reduces page-outs to less than half of what it was before. That's why more fluidity. No, it doesn't make the Mac all of a sudden seem super fast. It just operates more smoothly. I'm sure that increases throughput, but I can't quantify it. I just know if I keep my Mac happy it will keep me happy. It's a small investment.Read full review

Renewed vitality into my laptop

I do not have technical computer skills, but the memory was easy to install. I was getting "low memory, shut down" messages. I just installed the new ram moments ago. I opened 8 pages of YouTube videos and word program. My laptop ran smoothly without memory related messages. I wish I would have upgraded sooner. Performance Inhancer

Installed 2 x 4GB ram memory in a Fujitsu T731, running Windows 7 Pro.

True Lifetime Warranty

This item is the 2nd RAM kit I bought from ATech and it works perfectly. I bought another RAM kit last year but just realized I ordered the frequency wrong (my mistake, it should be 1333 but ordered 1600). I didn't purchase any warranty or extension of the warranty so I was not sure if I can return it. But with noticing the words of 'lifetime warranty' on the cover, I decided to try and contact ATech asking if I can return. We’ll see how the lifetime warranty goes. RAM type and speed were as advertised and both DIMMs work. They look to be re-badged and recycled DIMMS, but that’s not a bad thing.
