Mechanical issue

Well bone looking at the real he's got several scratches and has a lot more wear and tear when you use the real and try to reel it as the line receiver I guess is what you call it that guides the line into the spool it goes back and forth across that slide it sticks on the right side pretty hard and wants to stay there you have to connect crank on it it's really turkey jerky not good quality I am very dissatisfiedRead full review

Abu Garcia PMAX3 first use.

I loaded the reel with 30lb Power Pro Braid and put it on a rod that I had tried to use a Kast King on. With the Kast King, I got constant backlashes. I practiced with the PMAX3 and did not get a single backlash.

This would a good reel for anyone new too bait casting because of its ease of use.

At first I was getting bird nest with a light weight lure casting with it . Adjusted the brakes a little and can get long cast and no bird nest . What little time I have used it I love it .
