my Dot 2 could never hold an internet connection for more that a few days, but the DOT3 holds it over a week. For some reason they just loose it, but all I need to do is unplug and replug....working in 30 seconds! Note: My Echo Show never looses the internet.Read full review

Great, less expensive version of the new one
The main difference in this 3rd gen version is the sound. The new one has a better speaker, but this one sounds fine. It is so much less expensive that I was able to buy two.
