Pricy but nice gadget

If you like reading and not carreing books around this is for you. It is a little pricey for a gadget that you use only to read, the refresh and response rate is slow but on the other hand you use it only for reading so the plus is the long lasting battery, easy access and intuitive handling. The back light brightness is adjustable and it allows reading in any situation. Take care of it and take a protector for carreing it around and enjoy your reading.Read full review

Overhyped

If you're used to a good quality tablet, the kindle is not for you. It is slow in comparison and contrary to what you may assume, it does not support every E-Book available on Kindle. I will probably resell this on craigslist and just keep using my Nexus 7. The battery life is as advertised though. Thats about the only advantage.Read full review

Had my Kindle Paperwhite for about several weeks now. I had doubt about a eBook device as I am classic person - always like to read hardcover books. However, the experience was very enjoyable. The device is very light. Contrast is good and functionality is easy to control. Only downside is that touch screen seems to lag a little compared with iPad and other devices. This is my fourth kindle. Second paper white. I had a first gen for two years that was stolen. Even stolen, Amazon helped me lock it down and take it off line. This 6 gen is markedly improved. Better graphics, more features and is just a great overall. For me, better than hauling books all over the place.
