Well worth it...

I thought upgrading from a 1800psi to 2200psi would be an issue, but it was not. In fact, well worth the expense and effort. These pressure washers have went up in price in recent years, even the cheap electric ones. Keep the old push mower type engine one's and rebuild them for sure. $70-$88 for this part is great. I opted to increase my pressure to 2200 since I was spending money anyway and love the work I can do with it now. Oil stains on concrete are no match now, I stand back some from the house to clean the siding (pressure increase), but no ladder for the second floor now. Used it to restore a 1965 car hood covered in rust and it worked, 2200psi does wonders on old greasy engines too. Installation was too easy, 3 bolts only, make sure the pick up for the garden hose is still pointing the same way when your done and that is it in a nutshell. New pump come with a clear hose for chemical pickup while pressure washing, and it works too. I used the turtle wax car wash/wax with this feature on my cars.Read full review

Recommend this assembly

Once I found out the proper pump to buy I purchased this one for my Honda/troybuilt. Easy to install and worked instantly. It periodically will loose pressure when trying to get it started but I believe it was due to water pressure coming into the pump. I have a well system and just installed a whole home filter. And my pressure has gone slightly down. But once the pressure builds it works great. I pressure washed my entire double wide top to bottom as well as my huge front poarch. It’s better to buy the whole pump not just the head because there are little white rings that the pistons ride on that go bad. And u can’t tell by looking at them. I recommend this. Very fair price if you look around. Read full review

Need More time

Can't recommend it, value it or judge on quality until it proves itself. Its winter where I'm from and we don't d a whole lot of pressure washing this time of year. Q:Is it a Good value? A; Depends on how long it lasts Q: Is it of Good Quality? A: I just use them I don't build them Q: Do I recommend it? A: It is an inexpensive replacement pump and it does work. Its also easy to replace, however, only time will tell the real answers. Read full review

New, original equipment at a great price.

I considered rebuilding my old pump and went onto YouTube to see how it was done. While there I found videos that indicated it was worth the little bit extra to go with a complete replacement pump. The repair was easy, (less than ten minutes) and once installed, I had my washer back as good as new. Do yourself a favor and get the new pump. The AR was original equipment on my washer with a Honda engine. There is more than one model pump so be sure to compare where the water inlet and pressure outlet are on your model washer and the rest is easy.Read full review

Should be 5 stars.

The pump was in a great package and worked great! Only thing was that the pump mounted differently on my pressure washer and had to use original pump. Bolt were not lined up. Maybe it was me not noticing it in description. Idk. Make sure the pump bolts up to the engine correctly. either way, my washer works great now. Thanks!Read full review

Saved my two year old pressure washer from the junk yard!

Bought the pressure washer with Honda motor on it two years ago. Original pump went bad before one year and was replaced under warranty. Pump went out again just over a year later but no warranty and hardware store wanted over $200 to replace the pump. Ordered this one and it fit like a glove. Initial test seemed to have more pressure than old pump. It looks like a solid unit and I am considering the purchase of another as a stand-by just in case this happens again. Excellent value for the money and extremely easy to replace- plug n play.Read full review

Pump Replacement for pressure washer

The existing pump on my pressure washer just stopped. The pressure washer is 8 years old, but the honda engine runs great. I checked my options. Should I just rebuild the pump or buy a new one. The cost was almost the same so I purchased the new pump. It was exactly like the existing pump so it fit perfectly. Everything works great. It is like having a new pressure washer again.Read full review

Great replacement..

it was a direct bolt but needed longer bolts because the original pump mount that bolted to the engine wasnt as thick. it is more psi than the original for sure and drags the motor down unless you have it wide open. i`m going to adjust the pressure switch and lower the PSI a little.

All in all love it and if i need more PSI i can adjust it.

Easy Repair

My husband is not a fix-it guy but we decided to try to replace the pump ourselves once he saw that it was one unit. Researched and it seemed I found the pump needed for our Troy Built/Briggs & Stratton motor, I crossed my finger and placed the order. Very fair price after researching prices. It was easy to install. I couldn't believe we were able to do this, would have cost a few hundred dollars to take it somewhere. Used it right away and a few times since installing the pump and it works great. I recommend this item. Very easy repair!! Read full review
