Highly accurate, comes with easy to use n types of calibration solution (no mis by needed) and a nice case to keep everything together. My plants immediately responded to getting the water pH right.

Excellent pH meter

I purchased this because the cheap yellow meter I got was garbage. It was measuring pH of many solutions way off, despite having plenty of ions available (saltwater aquarium for example), and despite measuring both of the included buffer solutions perfectly! This meter is very fast, accurate and easy to use. The 1st day using it was a little slow to stabilize even after following the instructions for rehydrating the probe. My advice is hydrate the probe much longer the 1st time and buy some 3M KCl storage solution as recommended in the manual but not included, keep the probe stored wet and ready to go. From experience working with lab pH meters the storage solution should give you many years of life with minimal calibrations. The included case is nice but you'll need to find another way to store with the probe wet, I keep mine upright in a cup on a shelf, with storage solution in the included cap.Read full review...

Wonderful device.

This unit is foolproof and so easy to use. Just don’t forget to buy some liquid for the sensor cap. Other than having to buy a $10 bottle of solution without knowing before the purchase, it’s awesome! My plant’s love the wonderfully Ph’d water now. Before.....m, not so much. It was 12.3 out of the tap with 326PPM. It’s out of an old well that’s fixing to be completely redone.Read full review...

Simple and accurate

Well built, sealed unit. Uses normal batteries, not a stack of button cells. Calibration couldn't be easier. Easy instructions, including pictures for the impatient or adverse to literature. Great meter, great price.

I've used various such meters in the past but this one stands out for good accuracy with temperature compensation, rarely needing calibration, and a great price for what you get. Highly recommend it.

The pH fluctuates on this meter even after the smiley face comes on which is why I only give 4 stars but for the price it's probably the best in its category.
