The iPod I bought was of the last generation of iPods, very thin, in several colors and high capacity topping at 160GB, before they line was discontinued 3 or 4 years ago,In the height of MP3 players, iPods were the dominating product, easy to use, great functionality and sound, Initially it was a bit bulky due to the size of the hard drive and battery and with relatively small capacity (5-10 gigs), constrained by the existing technology, but that didn't stop many of music aficionados like me, to start converting their music CD collection and creating an iTunes library, as time went by, Apple came out with models with more capacity and thinner,. Bad hard drive

I was unable to sync any music to the iPod so I used the CopyTrans software and I was able to sync a few thousand songs. Every time I tried to sync with iTunes there were errors.I thought it might be because the hard drive wasn't formatted correctly so after formatting to Fat32 I ran diagnostics and it had 16000 bad sectors. I ran 2 different hard drive recovery programs that failed. After testing I wasn't able to sync with CopyTrans anymore. The hard drive needs to be replaced. Read full review

Wonderful Sound

They really don't make them anymore like this beauty. It is the best IPOD that I have ever owned and I have several of them. It is a pleasure to load and listen to with ample space for many recordings. It has many fine extra features for keeping and accessing music immediately. In addition, I purchased a barely used set of Sennheiser headphones that complement the IPOD in sound quality. For a used item that has not been manufactured for some time, it is in very good condition and was purchased for a fair price. Just what I needed

My boyfriends ipod died. He had a classic ipod 6th generation with over 12,000 songs on it. I purchased a brand new ipod touch, however the ipod touch was not compatible with his mac computer so he could not download the music onto the new ipod touch. I was pretty bummed because I spent over $300 on the ipod touch which wasn't going to work. I then came upon this product on ebay. It was very reasonably priced, and was exactly like his original ipod. We received it, he was able to download all of his music, and in addition I was able to get a 2 year warranty on the product. Good product for the price!

The product itself was a good deal, considering the amount of GB you can store on it! It's very simple to use, the sound quality is very good, and the device syncs pretty well with ITunes.

The only things that I find a bit disappointing are
A) How the scroll circle malfunctions and refuses to work sometimes--makes it difficult to turn the volume down on a song without circling around several times.
B) The device will pause in the middle of a song for no reason--usually if I put it in my pocket or set it down next to me.
C)The device syncs well enough with ITunes; however, the cover art is all scattered and linked to the wrong songs. And songs without cover art have this fuzzy television-like picture for the cover.

These are small, petty things that don't really matter much as a buyer of a used product so I'm willing to tolerate them. Regardless, the product still works and I'm happy with my purchase.

This iPod works well and has a good battery life. The click wheel is a bit sticky sometimes, and the glass screen plate isn't quite flush with the casing around it. But these are minor issues compared with how well the unit works overall.Read full review

Great New Replacement iPod!!

Not sure how other people listen to music, but I find this absolutely invaluable. I am not even close to full capacity because it holds so much.
