Genuine product? Doubtful

The sound quality is not up to my expectations of a genuine apple product. The 3.5mm jack requires rotation and jiggling to make full contact in the socket which doesn’t happen with any other pair of headphones I currently own and use with my iPhone. The volume control also has a distinctly different feel to every other pair if iPhone headphones I’ve ever owned.
