Wow!!!
I was hesitant to give up my mouse but now I'm glad I made the switch!! I have a 27" monitor so the sensitivity has to be adjusted a bit. Since syncing this I have only touched the mouse to move it out of the way.

The newer, slightly larger, trackpad has all the functions of the previous model in a more slimline case. The recharging capacity saves on batteries and the response is instantaneous. I like using this over any mouse as it allows for dexterity and provides comfort for those with carpal tunnel problems. Highly recommend this to any one wanting to try a trackpad instead of a mouse. If you’re a Mac user, the trackpad is fully functional however pc users will not have full function, at least as far as I’ve tried with a pc laptop.Read full review

Peerless device - but wish it took AA rechargeables like the older model.
If you have never used one - you are missing out on the most versatile device nowadays. If you use Windows computers, you have no concept the power this device. brings to the computing experience.
The only reason I said it is not well designed is that when the integral battery eventually fails, I cannot replace it without major surgery and innovation to get it to work again. The older model used simple rechargeable AAs.Read full review

Almost makes the grade
Typical Apple product; good in most every way.
The one thing we find difficult is dragging items. It works just like our last track pad, so you don't press hard to engage the "force" setting. However it works less than 50% of the time. Frustrating
Otherwise just like the original track pad.
The good news is the rechargeable battery

Between a mouse and a trackpad, I find in the majority of the times, the trackpad to be more comfortable and precise. I work with a large screen and with many open apps. Works well, but cracked quickly
I have greatly enjoyed using my new trackpad. It functions flawlessly and makes work on my iMac a lot faster (even faster than the Magic Mouse). My only negative on this is that the touchpad cracked after a couple weeks of use. I called Apple, and their 1-year warranty does not cover physical exterior damage.
