I likes his best of the incarnations

I have The Original Trackpad, a Magic Mouse, and now this one. It’s a little large for my liking, and I wish the batteries were replaceable, but the Bluetooth signal is stronger and the overall action is nicer than the mechanical version. Also, having a corded connecting option is nice. Of the 3, I will continue to use this one.Read full review

A beautiful option for getting around your computer screen

I use a trackball with my Mac but sometimes like the convenience of swiping, pinching or spreading to get around a screen more quickly. The Magic Trackpad 2 adds that functionality and works beautifully. Works wirelessly or plugged in. Elegant design like all Apple products. Of course, it's priced like all Apple products, but it's the right tool for the job and it actually works.Read full review

Love it.

So much better than an old Microsoft mouse.
I was used to a 2013 MBP with built in keyboard/ trackpad that I liked.
Now using an M1 Mini, with old Apple pro keyboard, that doesn't have a trackpad.
Goes easy on my wrists that were damaged by a large boxy NeXT mouse.

Nice improvement from the original. Won't go back to a mouse ever again!

Love the trackpad. Had the first version and this is so much nicer!! Battery alone is a huge factor. It's more surface are and more control. More gesture options and more intuitive movement. Very happy with my purchase.Read full review

Very Helpful!

I use this in conjunction with the magic mouse, both in between a split keyboard. Altogether, they make a great combination. The trackpad works nicely with the right stylus, too. Especially if you're looking for a more ergonomic solution!Read full review

Why'd I take so long?

This trackpad has definitely provided me with comfort of an input device that allows me to use my native movement to interact with my MBP. It looks good, feels good, and gets the job done!

I’m happy with my “new” Apple Magic Trackpad

The Magic Trackpad is an improvement over my last Apple trackpad, their first model. The profile is more rectangular than the first, thus fitting the iMac screen layout. It also feels better than the first trackpad. I’m glad to be using a trackpad again, because a mouse simply isn’t as versatile.Read full review

I like the magic mouse better than the pad.

It tends to bring up all kinds of screens that are not what one is trying to get. I think it is due to it being too sensitive to ones touch while trying to do one thing and another unwanted screen shows up. So far I definitely like the Magic mouse better as I get exactly what I am after with the first try where as with the Trackpad you never know what is going to appear. Both my wife and son like it a lot, so I may have too heavy a touch. Possibly more than my fingers are making contact with the screen. I have been very aware of this and tried to be careful to only hit the screen with my finger, but with very little success. I like the mouse better.Read full review

Excellent upgrade

The new Trackpad is a no-brainer upgrade from the previous, original Trackpad. The feel is so much better, the wider form factor allows greater accuracy and the rechargeable battery a huge bonus. While worth every penny at retail price, happy to have purchased it via eBay for less.Read full review

The convenience is worth it.

Being mainly a MacBook user, when I transitioned to a desktop system. I found my workflow drastically limited by using a regular keyboard and mouse. The gestures alone this thing offers makes it worthwhile for me, plus it’s extremely minimal and blends right in on my desk. Read full review
