You get the great quality you expect from Apple. It takes almost no effort to setup. I will be using it with my iPhone/iPad to get full internet service in the tv, amount other things. The remote is great and adds ease of use to the whole package.Read full review

Strong improvement over original version

This works seamlessly right out of the box, especially if you already have an Apple ID and related account. Pretty intuitive in operation, especially if you're familiar with other Apple devices. This is an outstanding product for streaming Internet video. Its massive memory eliminates streaming issues. Having replaced a Roku 4 with the Apple, I am nothing but satisfied. The interface is the best on the market.

As an Apple family, the airplay connections are just remarkable.

I am subscribed to a baseball site.I have not completed a single game because of an error screen appearing and stopping my program..

The remote charges like any other apple product but the menu is far harder to read than the original version remote which uses changeable batteries.
The old system remote is far better than this remote and the menus are far different.

what a great device the apple tv is. it allows me to watch my purchased iTunes movies and
also Netflix. italso has the app store for great games and watching free movies with crackle.
also I can watch youtube and search for all my entertainment needs!

I love all of the apps and games, and the screen sharing / airplay abilities are so easy to use. the Siri Remote is awesome. Disappointment

I was originally excited to get this product but within the last several days of use am very disappointed. It seems the wifi capability of this unit is so much slower than my previous original AppleTV that I felt compelled to give it a two star rating. I fully anticipated this unit to have better connectivity with my Netgear Nighthawk X6 like all my other connected devices and my 110MB internet service but am very disappointed. The technical specs far exceeded my original AppleTV specs but underperform in the wifi category. I am hoping this unit is defective in this category and will have an Apple tech verify its quality before throwing it in the trash!!!Read full review

I picked up a used V3 and resold it the same week. This version is an improvement over the last generation. The remote is a little annoying like any track pad style remote is. The App Store being added is cool but the V3 had pretty much everything you need. It really just looks better and works smoother and the added HDMI-CEC functionality is nice. I don't play games, so don't care. The YouTube interface still is light years behind Chromecast. No Que or multi user mode yet?Read full review
