This was a great purchase! I am very pleased with the condition of the iPod, looks like a brand new one. And performs that way,too. A step down
This is my third Classic iPod. I loved the other two. I use them almost exclusively for listening to audiobooks in my car. With that usage, a battery charge would last not quite a month. This new 7th generation will only hold a charge for a few days, even with minimal usage. What bothers me more is that it will not successfully bookmark my reading. When I resume listening, I am never at the right spot, and frequently not even on the right book. This is going into my junk drawer with its dead predecessors!Read full review

Apple should bring back IPOD classic
The IPOD classic has the easiest interface of all music MP3 players. The sound quality is exceptional. It has more than enough memory and long battery life. It fits comfortably in your pocket and the 7th generation has added features. Overall it is the best of all MP3 players and I can't understand why Apple discontinued the manufacturing of this product.Read full review

Great ipod.
Great ipod. Works well, brand new, very good seller. Tremendous storage, and it came with a clear plastic heavy duty case. Very expensive, though, much more than the original cost, because Apple no longer makes the ipod classic, and they must be relatively rare at this point. Nor does Apple service them....so it is not a true Apple warranty. Hopefully it won't need repair or replacement within the first 90 day window.Read full review

Close enough!
Although it is essentially an Apple iPod Classic, it is not the real thing thing. This unit appears to be built from replacement parts not made by Apple. For the most part it works like a genuine product but does not turn on when headphones are plugged in. Also does not make that irritating noise that 7th gen classics make when they are stopped or turned off. Battery life is less than half of my genuine iPod.
Packaging is an excellent copy of the original but includes different accessories. No docking adapter but does come with an A/C charger and 30 pin-USB cable.
That said the seller did work with me to make me at least satisfied enough to keep the unit.
What it really comes down to for me is the fact that my current iPod Classic is 8 years old and it won't last forever. Also The iPod touch does not play music as well as the Classic.Read full review

Sadly Disappointed
Unfortunately this was one of those purchases where I’ve had problems with the device since I first tried to actually use it. The sound quality is so much worse than my old iPod nano 6th gen, and the device constantly has errors when trying to connect to iTunes and play songs. Even after multiple attempts of restoring it to its factory settings, it still gives me issues. I waited for a few weeks before posting my review to make sure I gave it enough time to not just die on me. It had tons of space for music and the battery is decent, but unfortunately those pros don’t really outweigh the cons of what I received. Be cautious with your eBay purchases. I thought I was but I guess it’s just the luck of the draw.Read full review

This is the ultimate travel companion. Have it connected in the car, on my dock station, even have a portable stereo for it. I feel naked without it with me.
