This product has a pleasant smell for humans but my cat seemed repulsed by it. I used it on the bottom of fabric lounge so my cat would not scratch at it. Product seemed effective. It is great but in order to keep it working I'd have to be spraying it almost every day and at that price I can't afford to do that on a pension.. Doesn't work at all
