A solid Cary Grant slap-stick comedy. If you're a Grant fan it's a good film to settle down with. Support cast is also top notch and all earned their paychecks

Arsenic and old lace stand for the arsenic that the two, nice ladies put in wine to drive elderly men out of their misery. Lace means the old ladies

It's an original movie (not a copy of another movie). It keeps you in suspense because there are some scary parts. It is mostly funny. Even the funny acts from those days will make you laugh.
