Portable French Press that works like a glass version
I was not sure whether this would work like a normal glass French Press but it actually comes close. It is not quite achieve the full richness of the coffee but has the huge benefit of being portable – I can carry it in my rucksack without fear of breaking the glass.
I put the coffee in the base before heading to the office then, when I arrive I can remove the inner sleeve, pour on the water, wait 4 minutes then press the inner down to the coffee. Rather than drink it directly I pour it into a mug and add milk.
I am very pleased with he way the filter unscrews from the inner so that it becomes easy to clean or rinse out.

Works perfectly. Easy to clean. Not the most comfortable to drink from. The flip lid gets in the way of your nose. Also it’s quite hot to hold, even on the rubber!

Cheap plastic, not insulated. Coffee was cold by the timed it was pressed. Useless if you want to add cold milk to it.
