Really good, but makes head itchy

It really makes my hair feel so smooth afterwards, i can really feel the difference. But maybe I put a little too much (4 pea-sized blobs) and got some on my scalp, so it gets quite itchy the day after. I think it'll be better if i just apply to the ends and the middle section.
