It's a Dandy of a flour sifter

This is a reproduction of an old fashion flour sifter. It looks just like the one my grandmother had sitting on top of her big green porcelain kitchen stove. It sat in a bowl of flour and sifted flour every day. Hers was free for buying a 25-pound bag of flour at the local General Store. It was made of tin and painted with the brand name of flour. The one I received is a Rolls-Royce in comparison to grannies. This flour sifter is mirror-polished stainless steel and has two different sizes of wire sieves and two different agitators that sift flour baby powder smooth. Flour remained stuck between screens

Seller was fantastic... reasonably priced, quick shipping. Unfortunately, the first time I used the sifter, quite a bit of the flour remained stuck between the screens. It was like the top screen would allow the flour in but the bottom screen wouldn't allow it all out. I had been replacing a similar one I'd had for decades so this type of sifter was not new to me. Seems they aren't made like they used to be. Not being able to get it free of flour, I ended up having to replace it after only one use. Some of the flour hangs up on the outer edges. I'm going to look for the old time spinning ring like my mom had. Those work better.
